About Countryway

Countryway is a picturesque community of about 1553 single-family homes with tree-lined streets located in Hillsborough County. Countryway is a spacious and large community with beautiful preserved woodlands, lakes, and plenty of open green spaces. There are twenty beautiful subdivisions that line the main roads in this community. These communities are Champions Forest, Fountain Lakes, Woodlands, The Crossings, Hamptons, Fox Creek, Wellington, The Lakes, The Glens, Lakeview, The Greens, Southview, Oak Ridge, The Estates, The Fairways, The Pointe, Baybrook, Glen Oaks, Stoneybrook and The Meadows. The Countryway community offers plenty of amenities including a golf course, 13 ponds throughout the community, resident park, kids’ playground, tennis courts, and soccer field for athletic residents and families. Community pavilions can be rented by residents with a deposit made to Countryway HOA. The community is located within minutes to shopping classes, majoring grocery stores, banks, and major highways.

The Countryway community does have a homeowners association with low HOA fees and no CDD fees. The community is full of amenities with the Countryway Golf Club and Countryway recreational facility with tennis courts, playground, basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer field, and picnic area. There are also two dog-walk parks for your four-legged friends. The Countryway golf club is a challenging executive golf course with beautiful greens and fairways and featuring multiple water hazards on 14 holes. The course was designed by nationally known architect Steve Smyers and is a par 61 course.

Location is always an important aspect of selecting a community. Countryway is close to everything! Those that are interested in shopping will find the Citrus Mall located just 15 minutes away, and the International Mall just 20 minutes away. The local YMCA is just 12 minutes by car and there is a Publix, Walgreens, and banks within a few minutes’ drive. Those that commute to work throughout the Tampa Bay area will find easy access via 275 and Veterans Expressway. Commute to the downtown Tampa area are just about 30 minutes away, depending on traffic. Travel to beaches on the weekend is about 30 to 40 minutes, depending on which of the Gulf beaches you are looking to visit.

If you like to spend time outdoors with the family, then you will be happy to find out that Countryway is very close to the Upper Tampa Bay Trail. Here, there are many miles of biking, skating, jogging, walking and other outdoor activities that can be enjoyed in quiet scenic surroundings. There are plenty of fantastic fishing and water activities available throughout the Tampa Bay Area and there are also plenty of cultural and sporting events scheduled throughout the year.
